This historical building, nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, offers breathtaking views of the small village of La Catena. The charming castle and dining rooms exude romance and elegance. The spacious rooms provide a comfortable stay, and the bathrooms, though with a few spots, are still clean and well-maintained. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure an excellent experience, providing helpful service and even complimentary prosecco upon arrival. The breakfast, with its variety and top-notch quality, is a delightful start to the day. A Michelin star restaurant in the nearby old town adds to the culinary experience. This location, conveniently situated between Pisa and Florence, provides the perfect base for exploring the region.
The road leading to the hotel can be a bit bumpy, but it doesn't diminish the overall experience of this enchanting establishment.

Lovely villa and property, very helpful and attentive staff, a large, attractive, and comfortable room, and excellent food and service in the restaurant even though it was late on the evening of Easter and the eve of a national holiday. A real find at a reasonable price. We stayed here overnight on our way from Florence to Pisa for our flight the next morning and the location was very convenient for us.

An excellent stay - we were treated like royalty! Our room was beautiful, more of a suite than a hotel room. A complimentary bottle of spumante was waiting for us. Four friends staying near by joined us for dinner. As they arrived a couple of hours early, a special table and chairs were brought into the garden, where we were served plates of fresh fruit, Italian biscuits, and savouries. Our gourmet dinner was exceptional - we would have paid a small fortune in London to eat like that. The buffet breakfast was a feast of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, etc and Italian cakes! The staff and service were impeccable. They couldn't do enough for us - from picking us up us at the station, making us feel so comfortable in a very grand building, the helpful service at dinner, to ensuring we had our train tickets back to Pisa the next day. All of this was done as if nothing was too much trouble. I understand the Director has worked at the Savoy in London. It shows - everything was of comfort and class for us as visitors. We would highly recommend it, and will be back (hopefully next year)!

Located on a peaceful hill with breathtaking views, this place offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff, always friendly and attentive, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a refreshing drink and made to feel right at home. The room was spacious, air-conditioned, and impeccably clean, providing a haven of relaxation. The on-site restaurant served mouthwatering dishes at reasonable prices, paired with excellent house wine. The serene garden area was perfect for enjoying a drink or exploring the beautiful surroundings. All in all, I can confidently say that this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
Families will find this hotel a perfect choice for their stay.

It is a lovely older villa with charm. The restaurant was excellent for dinner, breakfast buffet and cappucinos delicious and bountiful. Staff very gracious and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary Proseco in our room the first night, as we arrived travel-weary. We liked the location, 1/2 way between Florence and Pisa (20-30 min by car to each). The old town of San Miniato is very close and beautiful with few tourists. Good location for visiting parts of Tuscany, but other parts were farther than if you stayed closer to Florence. The prices, however, are a bit lower in this region. Highly recommended if you have a car (free parking on site).
All was great!

The rooms were massive, like seriously, you could fit a whole dance party in there. And the bathroom? It was bigger than my bedroom back home! We had a blast exploring the area's golf courses, like we were pros or something. Plus, the theme parks nearby were dope, perfect for some adrenaline-filled fun. And let me tell you, the staff was on point, always hooking us up with the best recommendations for where the party's at. Who needs sleep when you can have non-stop adventure?
If there's one thing we could've used more of, it's some wild nightlife in the area. Like, don't get me wrong, the place was fantastic and all, but we were itching for some crazy party scene.

Great value for the price, with a spacious and clean room. The location was beautiful and the staff was incredibly welcoming, even providing complimentary sparkling wine in the room.
The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

We had a multi-generational group and enjoyed our peaceful stay in the beautiful and stately hotel. The location was ideal, situated between Pisa, Florence, and Lucca, away from the crowds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with modern bathrooms. The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was excellent, and we loved the lovely garden. We would definitely return for a longer stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The villa we stayed at was incredible, offering a lovely breakfast spread with a variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect, we had our own transportation, but there were busses accessible as well. It was also quite spacious and had stunning views, a true countryside retreat!
